Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman, Distinguished Professor of psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is at the University of California Davis. Her name is widely recognized with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer and has been awarded many prizes and grants. She has provided advice on policy and research for numerous government agencies and departments from all over the world. She is currently a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She's a member of numerous professional organizations which include the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was head of the American Psychological Association's three divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families policy and practice.
